BPSC Civil Services Exam Date 2024

BPSC Exam Calendar 2024

The Bihar Public Service Commission issued the BPSC Calendar 2024 on 23 July 2024, detailing the BPSC Exam Dates for various BPSC examinations. BPSC Exam Calendar which includes the BPSC 2024 Prelims Exam Date, Mains Exam Date, Interview Date, Final Result Date and vacancies etc. Candidates should check the BPSC Calendar and plan their study schedule accordingly.

BPSC Selection Process

The BPSC Combined Competitive Examination is conducted in three phases:

1. Preliminary Examination: A screening test with multiple-choice questions in Hindi and English. It determines eligibility for the Main Exam.
2. Main Examination: For candidates who pass the Preliminary Exam. It requires a separate application and involves selecting one optional subject. The questions will be asked in both Hindi and English.
3. Personality Test: An interview worth 120 marks for those who succeed in the Main Exam.

Note: Candidates must pass both written tests to be eligible for the final interview.

70th BPSC Prelims Exam Pattern

• The BPSC 70th Prelims Exam will test candidates’ knowledge in General Studies and is conducted for a total of 150 marks. 
• The exam lasts 2 hours. 
• It is a qualifying test, and only candidates who clear the prelims will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.
