SSC CGL Result Live Update – How to Check Tier-I 2023 Result

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will likely release the SSC CGL Tier-1 Result 2023 in the 3rd week of August 2023. However, the exact date and time of the CGL result are to be disclosed by the commission. Candidates who have taken the examination can view their results at ssc.nic.in, SSC's official website. SSC usually releases the result in PDF format on its official website @ssc.nic.in.

What after SSC CGL Tier-I Result 2023

The candidates who attain the minimum qualifying marks in the CGL Tier 1 Examination 2023 will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, i.e. CGL Tier 2 Examination. The SSC CGL minimum qualifying marks vary for each category. The following are the minimum qualifying marks for the SSC CGL Tier I computer-based examination:

CGL Tier-I is qualifying in nature, which means the marks obtained by the candidate in Tier-I will not be considered for the final selection. Stages of SSC CGL Result

The SSC CGL results are published separately for each level, i.e. SSC CGL Tier-1 and SSC CGL Tier-2/SSC CGL Final Selection Result after Document Verification, on the SSC website. SSC results are described in detail below.

SSC CGL Tier-1: The SSC CGL 2023 tier 1 result will be released on the commission's official website. Candidates can simply access their results by clicking on the link SSC CGL Result 2023. Candidates who took the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination in 2023 can check their SSC results by visiting the Staff Selection Commission’s website, and a direct link to obtain the same Result PDF is provided below. Candidates should keep in mind that the marks will be normalised based on the number of candidates who took the exam in each shift, as well as the difficulty levels for each shift.
SSC CGL Tier-2/Final Selection Result: The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2 result online. Since the SSC changed the pattern in 2022, there are only two tiers: Tier 1 Exam and Tier 2 Exam. The final selection result will be the SSC CGL Result for Tier 2. Candidates who pass Sections I and II of Paper I of Tier II will be shortlisted to take Section III, which includes the Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) Module and the Data Entry Speed Test (DEST). Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. After this stage of the recruitment process, a final merit list will be created based on the results of Tier I and Tier II.
